.....this weekend!
These boys and their bots are from GZG and are just for scenarios and alien digestion systems,....most of the Rejects are going to Skirmish 2012 this Sunday, for myself and Ray that will be before we go to work that night but as wargamers know we need our fix of a show or two, we're going to have a go at a game with Clint from the Rainham Wargame Club as well, it's a small show but well worth a visit..........
See you at Skirmish mate. Still unclear if I'll be coming alone or with a female entourage (i.e. wife and daughter) but either way I'll be coming with money in my pocket to spend!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you Lee, it's been a while!
DeleteNice mini's again, I won't see you at salute but I will be at Derby the week after!
ReplyDeleteIan
Well at least if you spend too much you know you're going to work after to work it back.
ReplyDeleteVery nice work, those guys are really impressive!
ReplyDeleteGreat job as always, have fun then!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. Looking forward to it. Hope you both are as well. Maybe I can rope Lee into a game as well. All the best Clint.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, some nice, shiny fodder for the space demons :)
ReplyDeleteNice job on the miniatures.
ReplyDeleteGo enjoy the show!
Very nice my friend and enjoy the show
ReplyDeleteyum yum those aliens are going to have a nice dinner! GREAT WORK FRAN AND LOOK RAY HAS NOT CLAIMED THESE YET :-P
ReplyDeleteNo he actually painted these ones for a change!!
DeleteNice detail work on these little guys Fran. I'm doing my first 15mm and the detail work on those is killing my eyes.
ReplyDeleteYou boys have fun this weekend and as tired as you'll be maybe Ray will fall asleep at work. We want another photo of him snoring but this time paint a mustache on him first!
They have satsumas for heads, classy.
ReplyDeleteThey look great! Hazmat teams always look cool.
ReplyDeleteChristopher
why do they all have oranges on their faces :PPPP
ReplyDeleteThat R2 droid looks like he's got a bad motivator. Could blow on them at any moment.
ReplyDeleteThe "motivator" must be that giant orange on its head. I always wondered about that. On newer R2 units the orange must be internal.
DeleteGreat work on this team, the space suit sculpts are amazingly detailed with all that ribbing, and it all looks perfectly painted. I'd have said these were 28 mm size unless I knew otherwise.
Orange heads to the rescue!
ReplyDeleteLove the "Not R2".
ReplyDeleteThese are great. Have fun at Skirmish. Can't wait to hear the stories when you two come back.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff as always. Enjoy the show!
ReplyDeleteI guess the robots are R2D2s but also look like bots from movie, "Silent Running," with Bruce Dern. I like them all, Angry Lurker!
ReplyDeleteI like 'em!
ReplyDeleteOh, I've a free weekend coming up - might see if I can make Skirmish.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very well detailed sci-fi set of figurines. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteNice. The halib orange team!. Out on the big pic version the detail looks very fine..great paintjob
ReplyDeleteCheers
paul
Good work of the GZG Hasmats mate. Enjoy Skirmish too.
ReplyDeleteTHe orange makes me think they've passed too much gas in their suits. Ahem. Enjoy.. work?
ReplyDeleteNicely done, really like the orange visors it stands out realyl well.
ReplyDeleteVery fine, meal for the aliens, I think. Have a nice day in the Show too!
ReplyDeleteVery fun minis, the orange helps bring some color to their utilitarian suits. would work great for zero-G environments too
ReplyDeleteGreat looking figures - be proud, Lurks!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh orange men!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWell deserved your effort Fran! Excellent work!
These look great. I'm going to copy your color scheme if that's all right. Imitation is the best form of flattery!
ReplyDeleteNever leave an Alien lying about opened-up after it has been sliced and diced. Call the boys at Generalissimo's Hazmat Cleanup Team, and the environment will be safe from nasty Gene Spills.
ReplyDeleteThese are seriously good Fran. Have a great show, myself and the Provost Marshal are hoping to get up to Euro Militaire this weekend. Looking forward to comparing photos.
ReplyDeleteCool looking group, you are really rocketting through getting these forces painted up!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking figs! Love those visors!
ReplyDeleteAre those R2-D2's on the side there? o_o
ReplyDeleteLooking good there.
ReplyDeletelooks like they would make decent chess pieces
ReplyDeleteWow, show and then work. I've gone couponing before work before, but nothing real big. You guys have a great time. Love minis. Fun series you've got going.
ReplyDeleteNice work Fran. Good additions to the collection.
ReplyDeletei present to you the r2d2 and astronauts orchestra!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you are still breaking blogging records here. Nice painting on this ones
ReplyDeleteHave fun skirmishing!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a blast (skirmish, not work)! Those boys look like they're ready to pick up some serious radioactive waste.
ReplyDelete"The Angry Lurker" has been included in the Sites To See for this week. I hope this helps to point many new visitors in your direction.

ReplyDeleteGaming pieces but could be used for chess pieces!
Deletethey look all sci-fi, like the crew from Prometheus!
ReplyDeletealso, I saw DREDD the other day and loved it.
Miniatures need Hazmat teams now?? Your games must get crazy!!
