........or G4S in space!
Lurker: A blog post about sharp sand?
Ray: It's my job to inform the masses!
Lurker: What about this job then slack arse?
Ray: Where do you want to be punched?
Lurker: Tokyo!
Ray: Idiot!
Figures are from GZG and the colony will need cheap but excellent contract protection from all the aliens and I need a new job soon anyway!
Went with the blue as it reminded me of Sean Connery's "Outland" garb, the little bots are contraband sniffers!
The female supervisor, 3rd human from the right is in charge but aren't they always though lads, her name is Anne!
I painted these you dirtbag!
ReplyDeleteLying fornicator!
DeleteThey're not that badly painted salad dodger!
DeleteMoi? Never! Just tell the truth.
DeleteIt's comforting to know that I can step away from the Blogger world and come back to things just like they always were.
DeleteCheers, boys.
But you never listen to me Fran! I talk and talk and talk... Wait a minute, I think I've just identified the problem!
ReplyDeleteRay, you're an arsemonkey-stop picking on him!
These painted up nicely Fran. Good choice going with the blue and Connery looks rather nice in the color!
You will never bore me with your talk woman, Ray on the other hand.......
DeleteHe only painted the red thingy's whatever they are.
DeleteYou'll get a kick in the red thingy's mate!
DeleteRay-no one likes a tattle tell!
DeleteHahahaahaha. You guys crack me up.
DeleteOutland blue good colour choice. They look great. Did not think Ray painted sci-fi stuff so most likely not his doing. Also they do look like your painting so in my mind at least it is settled.
ReplyDeleteChoice, nice figs, think 15m be a bit small for me old eyes though :)
ReplyDeletenice figs I think you painted these but Ray always seems to be claiming credit for your work while I have seen little of interest for me on his blog. what is this about a blog about sand what is ray on, there is nothing to worry about sand in the British isles! try Black sand that has been heated up my a strong summer sun and then try getting up a dune of the stuff and then build up the corage to go down again, its the closest thing to being fried you ever want to get!
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right Gowan, he's incredibly boring as well!
DeleteThe little robots are SO cute!
ReplyDeleteNice squad Fran :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Fran painted them! Ray has only a can with red paint! :-D
ReplyDeleteThey look real nice Fran!
Greetings

Awwww yeah for sweet ass wit. I wouldn't mind being punched to Tokyo. I hope these guys are more efficient than G4S or we'll never be safe.
ReplyDeleteYep wall-e is nice...erm, whoever painted them!
ReplyDeleteLike that you went with the Outland style. And is that Wall-E at the end?
ReplyDeleteIt does look like them!
DeleteI like the style, great looking figures
ReplyDeleteGreat looking unit Fran.
ReplyDeleteThat robot looks like he could get into some hijinks.
ReplyDeleteLooking good!
ReplyDeletelove those red robots! Do they vacuum clean as well? I could use them?
ReplyDeleteI'll ask!
DeleteThose officers are pretty cool, but I'm digging the Wall-E robot. He needs a fun nickname, like "Wally the Murder Bot."
ReplyDeleteI love these. I could just picture you and Ray arguing too. How long does it take to paint all of these?
ReplyDeleteA couple of hours for that lot!
DeleteThat's it? Not bad at all - it'd take a a couple of years!
DeleteAnother great set that will fit in nicely with the others. Nice to see Anne in charge too.
ReplyDeleteYou got your very own Wall-E or maybe Johny 5 is once more alive!
ReplyDeleteG4S in space? Christ, you're fecked!!!!
ReplyDeleteNicely painted for a group of figures with such a short lifespan, although I expect the robots will last for centuries!
All these are cool and all, but the red Wall-E thing is what makes me smile. I'm thinking wrong, I know.
ReplyDeleteSplendid work, regardless of who eventually takes the credit! ;)
ReplyDeleteYour security team and RCSs bring peace to the hearts and minds of your outer-rim citizens, Generalissimo! Hail, to our Overseer!!
ReplyDeleteYes! Sean Connery is one of them. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteYour robots are really nice, love the colours! Great work Fran...
ReplyDeleteLovely painted security officers. I like them.
ReplyDeleteRegards
Bruno
The Wall-E´s remind me of WWII Goliaths...with a camera on top...painted red..and the tracks triangular instead of just round...Ok...they don´t remind me of Goliaths :-D
ReplyDeleteNice set of security figs.
Cheers
paul
Nice set of figures, I'm sure those bugs will leg it from Anne!
ReplyDeleteNice looking figs again.
ReplyDeleteSo do we know yet who painted them?
Ian
Me!!!!!!
DeleteIan: I never know who to believe.
DeleteVery nice Looking Fran! I doubt Ray painted them as nobody is carrying a flag....
ReplyDeleteChristopher
She looks like she should be in charge.
ReplyDeleteNice looking figs and painthobs.
Sand isn't the only sharp thing. Those figures could slice silica, they're painted so well!
ReplyDeleteNice job, Outland was a cool movie. Great 'bots - super cute! Anne? Now where have I heard that name before? ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice; the robots reminded me of Johnny 5 Alive. Cannot remember the movie title, but it starred Steve Guttenberg.
ReplyDelete"Input, input!"
Nice work "Fray", whoever did them :D :D
ReplyDeleteNice paintjob, Fran or Ray or whoever... ;-)
ReplyDeleteCheers
Monty
me!
DeleteWall-E! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe attention to detail is amazing. Each character has their own unique expression. Cool.
ReplyDeletethe red robot reminds me of Wall-E
