28mm Foundry War Orc Queen...dedicated to Anne.

Anne (you know who I'm talking about) commented that she's interested in foundry's War Orc figures at the moment and I said that I thought I still had some from when Dave Thomas sold a load of at a SELWG many, many years ago and she said she wanted to see pictures so........This big bitch is listed as a mad Ogress Queen from Foundry and she is big, she was painted quite a long time ago and today maybe I would have painted her differently but that doesn't matter now.....you can name her Anne if you want and her followers will be posted as well.

I've always liked a little fantasy figure here and there...........especially a well sculpted or quirky piece, you should see all the Games Workshop plastic chaos warriors and skeletons I have.

I feel the call of some fantasy figures..........maybe!

One of her loyal warriors.......

  2. Jaysus! Looks just like me the morning after a mad bender! Oh that hair hahahaha.

She is a really cool figure Fran and you did a fabulous job of painting her up. Those heads hanging off her are great.

Christ, I will never live this shite down :)

    Lovely painting

  12. Now Fran, while I think doing homage to a beautiful lady proves that chivalry is not yet dead, to insinuate Anne is anywhere near as lovely as this creature of yours is preposterous! She is far MORE lovely... so nice figure; very nice gesture but try to do the lady a bit more honour next time eh ;-) oh and :-P

    Cheers Sander

  13. Lovely paintjob, the look, especially the twinkle in in her eyes, reminds me of some of the 'ladies' down Walsall town centre on a Saturday night (including the trophy heads).

    Matt

  25. Nothing to do with Anne !
I assume that only Anne I'm knowing is an Irish Elvish woman called "Gal'Anne O'Driel": I've meeted her and I've done pictures too ! (search on my blog!)

(and all the guys who say here that it's a great work, etc.... are bl***** liars !)

  27. No it can't be our lovely Annie - given the nipple slip she is more like an Ogrish Janet Jackson - c'mon Fran, you can do an Ogre Justin Timberlake ogling at the wayward ogre mam!

    Cheers,

  28. I like them both. A lot of character on the Orc Queen, the severed heads are a nice touch. I think that there should be more Angry Fantasy in the near future.
