Completed the early war German infantry platoon according to the rules I'm using (I will probably add another squad), as before the figures are TQD with the 50mm mortar from Stonewall figures I believe and still contemplating the collar patches.
Picked up some FAA MG34s, mortars and other bits and pieces on ebay and will add these when I can.
Love the macro shot from the end of the table. It looks like the whole platoon is about to march right down my throat. As usual, you've done a fabulous job Angry.
ReplyDeleteVery nice bunch of Germans Fran.
ReplyDeleteFantastic work!
ReplyDeleteWell done a nice collection you have there.
ReplyDeleteCome on, clear the way for the Wermachts' pride!
ReplyDeleteNice work Fran!

Oh! My God., this is brilliant! Indeed, I ask myself how much place one needs and that to present everything anyhow rationally. There one needs a house!
ReplyDeleteSwelling the ranks! Looking good, indeed.
ReplyDeleteDeadly...
ReplyDeleteWell done, Fran! Nicely painted group of figures.
ReplyDeleteNice work, a useful addition to your German forces

Lookin' really good, Angry. How long does it take you to take a platoon (or, just any 30-40 alike miniatures)?
ReplyDeleteNice stuff bro.... sorry but I think you have to have a go at the collars... :)
ReplyDeleteGood Morning :) They look really good, You're good with the camera too, I never could learn to take good pictures of the stuff I make. :) Have a nice day. :)

ReplyDeleteThe Germans did have the prettiest uniforms! Looking good.
ReplyDeleteAt least the two guys in the end had their buddy with them. :)

ReplyDeleteincredible detail!
ReplyDeleteReally like the basing ... not too much to distract from the model, but it caught my eye how good they look!
ReplyDeleteVery nice once again Fran!!
ReplyDeleteThe ones that are crawling rock!
ReplyDeleteI like how the circle stand that they all stand on does not really match the color of the ground beneith them.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking figures well done!
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done.
ReplyDeleteSimply superb with a great 'Early War' look to these 'Stubble hoppers'
ReplyDeleteBloomin' gowgeous!
ReplyDeletelooking good, I hope my psc Germans come out this nice.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant work that man. They look perfectly relaxed as they push aside all opposition!
ReplyDeleteWell done Angry. Great looking platoon.
ReplyDeleteReally great! Nice finishing things when able.

Very nice work - brilliant figures!
ReplyDeleteI love all the macro shots, but these really do justice of how great they can look.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely cute.
ReplyDeleteA tough looking bunch!
ReplyDeleteWow, I really like the mortar squad. The mortar itself is puny. Too bad the Americans 60mm is better in everyway.
ReplyDeleteThey look really good. I thought the one at the bottom was one guy in two pieces at first...
ReplyDeleteWow, I thought they looked great before, but seeing the full platoon like that is entirely badass.
ReplyDeleteVery blitzkreigy. I especially like the officer. Looks suitably arrogant. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWunderbar.
ReplyDeleteVery nice figs.
