....also put up pictures of some of the 28mm zombie and modern figures and scenery for sale! They're on the For Sale page at the top of the blog!
Got these boys from Rebel Minis and they remind me of my job but we're better armed (we wish) and don't eat doughnuts with pink frosting!
I think you've gone a great job on this. How do 15's compare to 28's painting wise? Has it been much of an adjustment?
ReplyDeleteIt has especially with detail and not as much choice but cost has helped!
DeleteThat's a giant doghnut that cop is toting. But I know you guys eat custard doughnuts because Ray said you do. I like the guy with the stash, very cool looking cop there.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Although, I have to say, the thought of Ray with a gun....
ReplyDeleteMwah ha ha!!!!!
DeleteHaha. They are awesome Fran and the pink doughnut one stands out. The guy with mustache looks like you. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of frosting do you like on your donuts?
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful Fran; I'm assuming the gentleman with the pink doughnut is loosely based on a certain work colleague.
ReplyDeletepink frosting is great... it's got color. someone say zombies?
ReplyDeleteBrown shirts??Reminds me of sth.... ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat work Fran!
Hah! The donut brings out the color in his eyes.
ReplyDeleteNice work there Fran. Hope they arent called upon to defend Franonia though...
Great work Fran, they look a little skinny to be Mall Cops though.
ReplyDeleteThose could also be security forces in some banana republic somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThese are great, the guy with the doughnut reminds me of one of our instructors, the tash is a mirror image; standing coffee mug & doughnut in hand, his preferred pose when not hollering at us in his best parade ground voice.
ReplyDeleteBTW its sugar coated, jam filled for me, always going cheap and so righteous at 3am on the graveyard shift. :)
I love the details of the one armed with only a cup of coffee and a doughnut. Let me guess, what he lacks in arms he makes up for by being a real prick, right?
ReplyDeleteVery nice Angry, these mall cops look great.
ReplyDeleteSome of them seem a little too well armed for mall security. I wouldn't want to rob something from wherever they are. It'd go bad.
ReplyDeleteThose are some heavily armed rend-a-cops. lol.
ReplyDeleteAll they are missing is a darn Bazooka! Very nice work Fran and guy with the doughnut is just great.
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Excellent job on those
ReplyDeletevery nice
ReplyDeleteWHAT!!!! No eating of doughnuts with pinkfrosting!!!! How uncivilised :-D Odd you putting up this post today..especially after what I´ve been told my future "career" could be....
ReplyDeleteCheers
paul
Nicely painted bunch of figures, Fran. It's always the little touches that help bring them to life.
ReplyDeleteYou're not going to laught every day with such a militia...sorry, security officers...
ReplyDeleteA really great work!
Nice lads, so what colour frosting do you go for?
ReplyDeleteIan
Whah a great looking bunch and in 15mm to boot!
ReplyDelete*jealous
Nothing wrong with pink frosting.
ReplyDeletethey're very dangerous!
ReplyDeleteExcellent. Love the one with a coffee and donut.
ReplyDeleteReally great job yet again!!
ReplyDeleteWhen are you and Ray having a go for a border conflict?
Very nice gitface!
ReplyDeleteIs pink frosting not manly enough?
ReplyDeleteLooking really good so they are, protecting retailers from Rayonian anarchists.
Nice to see you posting 15's of late. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great especially the donut eating, coffee drinking one.
ReplyDeleteNEAT! From my trip to Acapulco, they look like Mexican mall cops the way they are armed.
ReplyDeletenow I need to know what your career is time for some explanations fran
ReplyDeleteA really dangerous group. Very nice; I like a lot the donut eating one. The Rayonia Home Guard?
ReplyDeleteBest regards.
Ahahaha these are so cool! Are these the pieces that stick around in a corner and do nothing? Do any of them get golf carts?!
ReplyDeleteNice job, General. I like your color-interpretation on these wannabe cops. BTW: Khurasan has just added some Hillbilly types to their products. You might check them out to see if they would work for the General and the Franonian cause. Hail, Franonia!!
ReplyDeleteOn my wish list!
DeleteLol! I do like these. I don't think I have seen a figure holding a doughnut before! I have to say I prefer mine with Chocolate icing
ReplyDeleteVery nice pink frosting is great especially if its strawberry flavour yum!
ReplyDeleteNice work though. I've still not made my mind up about 15mm yet
those are some mean looking chaps...no messing with them
ReplyDeleteI totally love the guy with the pink-frosted donut and coffee. That's who I want to be when I grow up.
ReplyDeleteThose look great, Fran. Now you just need one on a Segway.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on those, Fran. Now you just need one on a Segway.
ReplyDeleteNice detailing. I also like the moustaches!
ReplyDeleteThese guys look cool, both equally slothful and menacing.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on these Fran! They are astonishingly unintimidating (except for the one with the scalding hot coffee).
ReplyDelete-Curt
Love the mall cops!
ReplyDeleteThose are some epic "Mall Cops"!
